 Rodgers has stated that any win in the Premier League is real important as the Foxes claim victory over West Brom in the League to keep as they seek to secure their top 4 position.

Leicester City head coach Brendan Rodgers says wins in the Premier league are important, he stated after the victory over West Brom.

The Foxes put three goals past the Baggies last night as goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho at king power stadium keeps them secure their third position for the week.

Rodgers claims that any win in the Premier League is really important as they fight to keep their place in the top 4.

The Northern Irish stated that he was not please with the first half of the game, despite the goals coming from the first 45 minute he insists his side loose too many passes and made many mistakes.

“First half, I wasn’t happy, to be honest,” said Rodgers. Too many loose passes, too many mistakes, giving the ball away too much. But, in terms of the goals, in terms of our press and intensity, that was pleasing.”

He further stated that they controlled the game in the second half of the game and they were able to defend their set pieces and also control the threat.
