James Harden to join Rockets’ practice on Monday, says head coach Stephen Silas
James Harden is going to join the Houston Rockets’ practice on Monday, after several days of quarantine, per Kelly Iko of The Athletic.
Houston’s head coach Stephen Silas confirmed the news on his latest media session. PJ Tucker will also be allowed to practice with his teammates.
Harden missed the start of training camp and reported to the Rockets this past Tuesday. He had to get past six negative coronavirus test to join team’s practices.
The former MVP informed the Rockets that he wants out of Houston to join a contending team, after seven years with the Texas’ franchise.
Harden initially wanted to get traded to the Brooklyn Nets, but, later, he added the Philadelphia 76ers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat in his list of destination.
