Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insist he will he needs to lift the players hope emotionally after the defeat against Chelsea.
The Gunners lost the first derby game of the season in the Premier League to Chelsea at the Emirate stadium.
Arsenal will be in action on Wednesday in the League cup and thee mnager has got his plans ahead of the game.
While speaking with the media when asked about his approach to league cup, he stated that: “To win the game and go to the next round.
“Try to get players back if possible to help us because then we have Manchester City at the weekend.
“Try to lift the players. Obviously they are hurt, the feeling is tough at the moment, they need some help as well with players coming back, and keep them together, because the spirit there is good.”
Arteta will Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday and the Spaniard insist he will give them the confidence they need.
“They don’t need motivating. Honestly, they are really together, one thing they don’t need is motivating.
“That is really clear, they are really trying what they can do. Give them confidence, that is what they need.”
