Avery Bradley says the decision to opt out of the NBA restart was ‘really hard’
Avery Bradley opened up about his decision to opt out of the NBA restart in the Orlando “bubble”.
Bradley said his decision to skip the title run of the Los Angeles Lakers, due to the coronavirus pandemic, was ‘really hard’. The Lakers defeated the Heat in six games and claimed the title.
“It was really hard for me. It was hard. It was tough. The championship game, my hands were sweating,” Bradley said, via Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
Bradley opted out of the NBA restart, due to safety concerns for his family amid the pandemic.
The versatile guard parted ways with the Lakers in the offseason and joined the Heat.
