Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is set to make to make a return back from injury, according to Dortmund interim coach EdinTerzic he believes the Norwegian will be back when Bundesliga resume back next year.
The 2020 Golden boy have been sidelined in Dortmund’s final competitive games of the year due to hamstring tear but have returned to training after undergoing a successful rehabilitation programme in Qatar.
“We’re happy to have him back,” Terzic said ahead of his team’s 2-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig in the DFB Cup second round. “He’s completely on schedule, and we expect him to be back in a full capacity at the start of January.”
Dortmund have recorded just three wins since Haaland have been sidelined with injury and the Garman side will be glad to have him back in the squad very soon, Haaland have found the back of the net at least once in all but four of his 14 competitive appearances in 2020/21 prior to his injury. The Norwegian has registered 33 goals and 6 assists in 32 matches since joining from Red bull Salzburg.
