Carmelo Anthony revealed he is not planning to change his jersey number with the Portland Trail Blazers this season.
Anthony explained why he will stick to No.00 and will not switch to No.7.

“It’s too much money involved. Too many jerseys have already been ordered,” Anthony said, via Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report.
No.7 was previously worn by Blazers legend Brandon Roy, who said he would be honored if Anthony wore his number. Portland has not handed out the No. 7 jersey since Roy retired in 2011.
