Casemiro applaud Erik Ten Hag mentality
Erik Ten Hag has been applauded by Casemiro for the impact on the team and also likened him to other managers he worked with.
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro appreciate his manager Erik Ten Hag’s winning mentality and impact on the team.
United got a slow start to the season with defeat to Brighton and Brentford gave the former Ajax manager another insight of playing in the new league.
Ten Hag side went on from their disappointment of losing to winning 4 games in a row including beating Liverpool and Arsenal.
United fell to a huge defeat to rival Manchester City but has not stop the team from bouncing back as their recent win came against Everton.
Speaking with the United media Casemiro said: “I believe it’s his desire to win, his ambition, his hard work. Not just him but all the coaching staff.
“They always want to win, they never get complacent. They’re always looking to do something new, always wanting to make a difference in games.
“I believe Manchester United have a great manager, it was there to see at Ajax, I think he’s doing a good job here.”
Ten Hag’s philosophy are having an impact on United team as United have won eight of our last 10 matches, ahead of a first Old Trafford outing in the Premier League since the 3-1 win over Arsenal in early September.
“It’s a diverse group of players, different players, but I believe we’ll adapt to his style of play,” added the midfielder, who made his first league start in last weekend’s 2-1 win at Everton, and provided the assist for Cristiano Ronaldo’s winner.
Casemiro also admits he can see some similarities between his former coaches and Ten Hag.
“Every manager has their own way of playing,” he pointed out. “Their own way of leading.
“I’ve worked with [Carlo] Ancelotti and [Zinedine] Zidane. They are managers who want to win, which is the most important thing.
“Hard work and dedication, being intensely dedicated to the club – that’s what is most important.
“I think winning is a consequence of this, doing things right is essential.”
