Grizzlies waiving Mario Hezonja
The Memphis Grizzlies are waiving forward Mario Hezonja, according to Shams Charania.
Multiple teams are expected to express interest after he clears waivers and training camp ends.
It was recently reported that Hezonja, 25, would not be with the Grizzlies for training camp, as it was expected that the team wouldn’t keep him.
Hezonja was traded to the Grizzlies in a three-team deal on Nov. 20 that also sent Enes Kanter from the Boston Celtics to the Portland Trail Blazers.
He averaged 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 53 games (16.4 minutes per game) for the Trail Blazers last season.
