Liverpool came back twice against Manchester City in the Premier League in an intense 2-2 draw as title race continue.

Liverpool came back twice against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium to get 2-2 draw in the Premier League.

It was an intense match with lots of goals in it but both teams didn’t go home with more than a point.

Manchester City score first in the game through Kevin De Bruyne in the early minutes of the game.

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota didn’t take long to equalize the game to make it 1-1 in less than 20 minutes of the match.

The match become very tough as both teams kept attacking until City got the lead before half time of the game.

It looks like City was going home with the whole three points before Sadio Mane scored to make it 2-2 in the early minutes of the second half.

It would have been 3-2 in favour of the home team but Raheem Sterling was ruled out for an offside.

Both sides chased the winner, Salah seeing a shot deflected wide, Jesus missing the target when there were options in the middle. In the final minute, substitute Riyad Mahrez curled a free-kick wide of the post.

There was still time for Mahrez to attempt an ambitious chip in stoppage time with the goal right in front of him only to see it sail over the bar.

Manchester City remain top of the table with just 1 point ahead of Liverpool as the title race continues.
