Luka Doncic after second preseason game: “I think it was a big step”
Luka Doncic led all the scorers with 27 points as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 128-112 in their second preseason game. After the game the 21-year-old Slovenian said the second game felt way better for him and for the whole team.
Doncic spent more time on the court in the second game — he played 29 minutes which was also twice more than in the first game (16).
“I think it was a big step. I felt way better today. I think the whole team felt way better. We’re obviously still not there and we need more time but we’re really looking forward to the start of the season,” Luka said after the game per Mark Followill.
Dallas is still without Kristaps Porzingis who continues recovery from a meniscus injury in his right knee.
