Romelu Lukaku has failed to perform to expectation since his arrival at the Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan, its now stated that he has few weeks to save his career.

Ex Chelsea player Joe Cole says the Blues striker Romelu Lukaku have just six weeks to save his career at the London Club.

This comment came after Chelsea’s FA Cup victory yesterday over Crystal Palace at the Wembley Stadium.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount goal was enough to send the North London team into the Semifinal.

Meanwhile former Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku missed a glorious chance which he should easily converted.

Speaking about the Belgian miss Joe Cole said the Belgian wants to be the focal point at Chelsea but things are not going well for him.

The former Chelsea winger said on ITV Sport: “Lukaku has six weeks to save his Chelsea career. You look at Werner and he doesn’t give up. Lukaku wants to be that focal point but he missed a chance.

“When it’s not going for you, it’s not going for you.”

Fellow Pundit Ian Wright added that: “When you’re going through what Lukaku is going through, this is the type of chance you want. He’s left footed, take it with your left foot.”

Manchester United legend Roy Keane also said: “How badly do you really want to score? It’s obviously his mindset, it’s clearly not right.”

Before the former Manchester United forward arrival at Chelsea many believed the Belgian is the missing piece Tuchel needs to build a formidable team.

But despite his performance at Inter Milan Lukaku has failed to perform up to expectations of fans.

“People saw Lukaku as the missing piece of the jigsaw [when he returned to Chelsea last summer], it didn’t happen, but it can come back as quickly as it goes. Football can change in one game,” Cole said.

The Belgian has suffered a momentous fall from grace at Chelsea over the past six months, which has resulted in Tuchel preferring to deploy Kai Havertz as a false nine at the pinpoint of his attack.
