Preview: Upcoming premier League games
Last week Premier League game came with lots of surprises as Manchester United and Arsenal still jeopardize their chances of getting into the top, what do you expect this week?
Manchester United played an early kick off away from home against Everton who were in a verge of escaping relegation in the Premier League.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of the Merseyside team with a disappointing point reduction for Ralf Rangnick’s men.
Arsenal on the other hand, suffered 2-1 defeat to Brighton at the Emirate stadium last weekend.
Tottenham who has been on form score three past Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa to give them a strong hope of the Champions League competition for next season.
This week the Premier League continue with the London side Tottenham playing first tomorrow.
Tottenham vs Brighton
Antonio Conte side will face a tough Brighton side in the Premier League following their last week victory.
Brighton were also incredible last week after they defeated Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirate stadium.
With Tottenham looking for a way to secure their top four race in the league will this serve as a motivation for them as they play at their home ground.
Manchester United vs Norwich
The Old Trafford side will host relegation placed team Norwich in the Premier League as they hope to catch Tottenham on the league table.
United suffered a shocking defeat to Everton last week with Frank Lampard side getting away with a slim win at the Toffee.
Norwich definitely do not have an escape plan of leaving the relegation zone this season.
It should be an easy match for Manchester United with the calibers of players they possessed.
Southampton vs Arsenal
Both teams suffered defeat to their opponent last week in the Premier league.
The Saints suffered heavily in the hands of London side Chelsea after 6 goals were slotted past them.
Arsenal also were defeated by Brighton which was a tough pill to swallow for Mikel Arteta’s men.
The Saints will host Arsenal tomorrow, the London team are seeking passage into the top 4 but will it be an easy task for them?
Watford vs Brentford
Watford will host Brentford who are in form right now in the League.
Watford also are in the relegation zone and won’t be an easy task for them to leave that position.
Brentford with their current form have the upper hand in this game despite playing away from home.
Newcastle United vs Leicester City
The Magpies will face a tough challenge from Leicester City in the Premier League having a little dip in performance recently.
The foxes were able to qualify for the Europa Conference League semifinal following their victory over Dutch team PSV.
Will Brendan Rodger’s men use that as a motivation to defeat Newcastle United?
West Ham vs Burnley
The Hammers will host Burnley after a Europa League victory over Lyon in France.
West Ham have also been in fine form in the Premier League as David Moyes side doing incredibly well against any opponent.
Burnley wants to get out of the relegation zone as well, will they put up a fight against the Hammers?
