All-Star big man Anthony Davis has signed a five-year, $190 million maximum contract to stay with the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.
Now, the Lakers small forward Jared Dudley says he’s expecting Davis to be an MVP this upcoming season:
“I’m expecting AD to go for the MVP. I’m expecting AD to set the tone early on. He should’ve been DPOY.”
Hear what a former NFL tight end, who played for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, Shannon Sharpe have to say about Dudley’s comments:
“AD can shoot the 3, pull up from mid-range, and is 85% from the FT line. He has no weakness in his offensive game & is one of the best defensive players in basketball. He’s going to be a monster this year.”
Last season, Anthony Davis averaged 26.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. He shot 50 percent from the floor, 33 percent from 3-point range, and a career-best 84.6 percent from the free-throw line.
