Ole Gunner Solskjaer was left frustrated after sharing points with Southampton.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer insist the team will get back better in the next game.
The United head coach left St Mary stadium frustrated after they shared point with Southampton in the second game of the Premier League.
Mason Greenwood rescued a point for the Old Trafford side after the Red devils struggle to find the back of the net.
Reacting to the game after to the media Solskjaer said: “We’re still very early on [in the season] and we need to work to get them fit. We’ll be better off next week.
“It’s a point from a losing position, but still we want two more in every single game but now it’s about working on fitness, a couple of other issues we need to sort and then we should be ready for Wolverhampton.”
The Norwegian was adamant the Southampton goal shouldn’t have stood but they should have reacted better as well.
He claims that the challenge on Bruno Fernandes was a foul which led to the goal they conceded.
“ [It was a] Foul, 100 per cent, He added. Football can go from one extreme to the other and he goes straight through Bruno’s hip so that’s a foul, but we should react better anyway, we should do better, just block the shot and make sure mistakes won’t cost us.”
