Ryan says in an interview after the game that it was a tough game for them as City kept possession for a long time, though he claim they defended and block well in the first half.

“In the second half we had a couple of moments, produced a great save from their goalkeeper, had a couple of set-plays and openings… could something have happened for us?

“They also had a couple of opportunities in the second half,” Ryan said, but I didn’t feel we were in any danger and as the game went on, we started to have longer spells of possession and I thought we were coming into it a bit.”

The interim manager was disappointed conceding from a set play but said he could not fault his players as they had a change of manager in the midweek and work in a different way.

He further stated that the result is tough for the players, fans and also everyone associated with the club as they fail to make it a moment of joy for the club.
