Thunder’s Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams Secure Win Against Jazz

Williams, dubbed ‘Fourth Quarter Dub,’ emphasized the role of confidence in his recent performances, scoring at least 25 points in three consecutive games.
The Thunder’s offensive firepower extended with notable contributions from Cason Wallace, who scored a season-high 16 points, and Josh Giddey, who posted a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Thunder’s early dominance, storming to a 34-15 lead behind Gilgeous-Alexander’s scoring, set the tone for the game. Although the Jazz narrowed the gap in the third quarter, they were unable to seize the lead.
The Thunder’s 60% shooting in the first half, with five starters in double figures, highlighted their offensive potency.
In the aftermath of a postponement due to the unfortunate death of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević, the Jazz’s nine-game home winning streak came to an end.
