The Nigeria Super Eagles were able to find the back of the net against Ghana with an awful performance at Kumasi Ghana, What really went wrong with the team?

The Nigeria Super Eagles played their first leg of the World cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Ghana.

After so many hypes from the media about the Super Eagles player it turned out the other way round for the Super Eagles supporters.

The likes of Moses Simon, Chukwueze, Iheanacho and also Victor Osimhen were all present in the game for Nigeria.

But despite all the stars in the team for the Nigeria Super Eagles they gave an unimpressive performance in the game.

The game ended 0-0 as both teams were unable to find the back of the net for the entire 90 minutes.

The Super Eagles coach deployed a 4-4-2 formation for the game like he did in the just concluded Nations Cup.

Leicester City Midfielder was not present in the game as he suffered from injury which didn’t go well with the Super Eagles.

The team played from the flank believing in the ability of Simon and Chukwueze but the end product was awful.

Individually the team was poor as they were unable to take on the Ghanian team easily in the game.

Tactically the team didn’t do very well as they find it very hard to locate themselves on the pitch.

If the same performance repeats it self in the return leg of the game at the Abuja Stadium it is possible the Nigeria team will have to say good bye to the World cup in Qatar.

Augustine Eguaveon should strategize with his technical team and approach the game in another tactical way suitable to play a good football and also win the game.

The entire performance was nothing to write home about and fans are furious and not pleased with it.
