Ancelotti: We have the same motivation as Salah

Carlo Ancelotti claims they have the same motive as Liverpool forward Mo Salah ahead of the Champions League final in Paris.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that the have the same motivation as Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah ahead of the Champions League final.

Following the semifinal victory of Real Madrid against Manchester City Mo Salah took to his social media page to say they have a score to settle against the La Liga champions in the Champions League.

Liverpool fell to Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final as the Egyptian suffered injury in the first half of the game.

Speaking about the comment of Salah Ancelotti claims they have the same motivation as the Egyptian as they have also lost a final in the Champions League in Paris.

“Real Madrid also have a lost final in Paris in their history”, Ancelotti said. We can find the same motivation as Salah against Liverpool. We respect him, he’s a great player and will surely be a threat”.

Real Madrid have fought and done come backs in the Champions League this season from Paris Saint Germain to Chelsea and then came back against Manchester City in the semifinal.

When the Ancelotti was asked if he will expect a comeback against Liverpool in the final the Italian said: “I hope not. We’d like to see Liverpool having to try and make the comeback. I don’t know what might happen but we have the utmost respect for the opposition. They’ve done a great job in the Champions League in recent times. It will be an entertaining, evenly-matched and hard-fought final”.

“Sometimes you think you’ve been fortunate but ultimately the atmosphere here at this stadium is special. The bad luck both teams have now is that we’re playing in a great city in Paris, but we won’t have the advantage of our atmosphere, the magic of the stadium”.
