LeBron James, Anthony Davis top ESPN’s Top 100 NBA players

The two Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis topped ESPN’s Top 100 NBA players list. James was ranked as the number one, followed by Davis at number two. Previously, LeBron and AD ranked third and fifth respectively.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who won back-to-back MVP’s, was ranked in third place. The list continues with Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Steph Curry, James Harden and Nikola Jokic.

Based on ESPN’s Top 100 NBA players list, the Lakers have the best duo in the entire league. It is the first time in ten years that such occurrence happened. “Come playoff time, however, there’s still nobody you’d rather start your team with than LeBron,” ESPN wrote.

The four-time NBA champion averaged 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game last regular season. During the playoffs he averaged 27.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.

Davis received a boost in ranking due to his performances for the Lakers on the way to winning the franshise’s seventeenth. AD averaged 26.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game during regular season. He improved his stats to 27.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists during the playoffs.
