Arsenal new signing Ben White was disappointed with is new team debut against Brentford last night.
The former Brighton defender made his debut in the 2-0 defeat in the first game of the Premier League against newly promoted side.
Speaking with the media on the result of the game White said: “It was obviously a disappointing start. I think we created some chances and could have had some goals, but we didn’t today and they did.
“Obviously it’s an unbelievable feeling that’s clouded by the result.”
He further stated that the fact that they could find the back of the net cost them in the game.
“It’s both boxes, isn’t it. If you don’t score goals and concede, that’s where they got away from us.”
Aubameyang and Lacazette were absent in the game and the England international insist they have qualities that can replace them in team.
“Obviously they’re massive players, but we’ve got enough quality in the squad to do it.”
Meanwhile, Sportscliffs.com reported earlier that Mikel Arteta will not use the absence of duo as an excuse for the defeat.
The Spaniard further stated how disappointed the defeat was for him in but insist he needs to focus on his players.
