Pundit predict final position of Arsenal and Manchester United as he believe both team would miss out on Champions League position this season.
English pundit John Barnes, believes that Manchester United and Arsenal will both struggle and miss out on the final Champions League spot this season.
Arsenal have started the Premier League on a good not leading the league table and only losing one game to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Manchester United had a poor start to the season following their defeat to Brighton and Brentford but have won their last 4 Premier League matches beating 2 top 6 teams in between.
The 58-year-old spoke to BonusCodeBets and said: “Arsenal needed a centre-forward and that’s Jesus’ position. He’s young and it’s a great signing for Arsenal.
“He’s scored seven goals this pre-season so he’s definitely hit the ground running and of course, Arteta would have known him from Man City, he would have known the type of player he was, it’s an excellent signing.”
Barnes stated that the two team that will finish top two would be Manchester City and Liverpool.
The Reds are currently not in good shape losing and playing draw in important games.
“I know my top two will be Liverpool and Man City but my next two will be Chelsea and Tottenham. In what order, I don’t know.”
He stated that the Gunners and the Red Devil will finish between fourth and sixth.
“Arsenal will finish between four and six, quite possibly the top four. I think after that, it’s between them and Manchester United.
“Arsenal will finish around fourth, fifth or sixth, it’ll be around there.”
Arsenal will host Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London derby while Manchester United will be at the Etihad stadium for the Manchester derby.
