Nigeria football academy Buruj Sport Academy as aligned with the Nigeria tax authorities as they “Call for encouragement and support for the going concern of the academy.”

Buruj academy that was recently shortlisted and ranked top amidst academies in Nigeria by the sports governing body (Nigeria Football Federation).

Their philosophy is based on playing great football and giving young players the chance to showcase their skills and talent through their international journeys/trials in Europe and the United Kingdom.

Parent and Guardian also believe in their pathway because of their greatness and achievements by registering their children to run a soccer skills development program with them.

They also provide adequate support morally and financially out of which the academy make provision for facilities, accommodation, training kits, medical care, transportation, accreditation, payment and remittance of dues to the tax authorities i.e Federal Inland Revenue Services and Lagos State Inland Revenue Services i.e Education Tax, VAT, CIT, PAYE amongst others.

The CEO is also encouraging other academies and well to do industries in Nigeria to comply with the government by remitting all dues accordingly, to emulate the pay your tax syndrome as practiced in developed countries like UK, UAE and other European Union.

This will challenge the present government to put more effort to improve the Nigeria Government system.

The academy remains aware in impacting the best on our players, with adequate discipline they inculcate which grows in them while they evolve in the game of football.

Upon the completion of the soccer skills development program, players are issued certificate while outstanding players who stay dedicated after been shapened into a marketable piece and getting the nod of the technical crew can get the opportunity to be recruited into the Football Club by playing under genuine contract, He concluded.
