Manchester United goal keeper David De Gea admits that the United’s no. 23 Luke Shaw recent form is helping the Reds improve in the Premier league.
De Gea in an interview with the media stated that Shaw has recently step up his game and developed into a vital cog in the Reds set up.

“He’s a big weapon for us,” declared De Gea. “I think the last few games he’s played he’s been playing really well.
“He’s a very important player for us and when he’s fit and playing at 100 per cent I think he makes this team better.”
He further stated the impact the new summer signing Edinson Cavani has made in United’s attack as he his full of praise for the Uruguayan.
When asked what it’s like to face Cavani in training, De Gea smiles and says: “He just wants to score goals! [Laughs] He’s a really experienced player who has scored many goals for many teams.
“I think everyone has seen his qualities, he always tries to score goals and is always in the box ready to jump on any mistake and take the ball and score.
“He’s a great header of the ball, he presses a lot [against the opposition]…he’s a great player for the team.”
