There are teams that has impressed so far in Europe this season while some didn’t perform to expectation.

Some fans will be frustrated on how their teams have performed this season as there will be nothing to show for it on the long run in Europe.

Some of these teams have changed their manager this season in other to get a better result but still the problem continues.

Therefore, sportscliffs have come up with some teams that looked promising at the start of the season but have failed to deliver so far.

Juventus: Everyone expected the Serie A team to impress this season despite changing their manager and moving Cristiano Ronaldo who they claim to be the problem of the club away from the team.

Juventus crashed out of the Champions League on their home ground after they played draw in the first leg of the Champions League.

Ajax: Well this team is impressive in their league as they remain the favourite to win the Dutch league but everyone one expected them to do better in the Champions League but they had to crash out of the tournament to Benfica.

Borussia Dortmund: One of the team that has always keep Bayern Munich on its toe but has been absolute trash this season at German League and also at the Europe.

Borussia Dortmund were not impressive in the Champions League this season as they didn’t get out of the group stage.

The teams fell into the Europa League but crashed out in the twinkle of an eye to a Scottish team Rangers who lost Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa.

Paris Saint Germain: Permit me to say this, the Ligue one club is just an embarrassment in Europe.

Despite their strong team and having one of the best players in the World Lionel Messi the French team still failed to qualify for the next round of the Champions League.

PSG won the first Leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid in the tournament, got an early goal in the second leg but unfortunately squandered the lead few minutes to the game. What a team.

Manchester United: They have sacked managers like they don’t have any other thing to do.

At the arrival of Ole Gunner Solskjaer the team was impressive and made the Champions League spot in his full season.

The team got into the Europa League final against Villarreal last season but was defeated by the Spanish team.

Manchester United strengthen their team by getting Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and also Cristiano Ronaldo but they have nothing to show for it.

They replace the manager with a German who claims Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel was his disciple but there was nothing to show for it on the long wrong.

The team have been poor in the Premier League and also crashed out of the Champions League to Atletico Madrid.

As it stand for the team it likely they don’t make it into the Champions League next season.
