The former Bayer Leverkusen player was part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad that won the Champions League last season.

Speaking with the media ahead of the new season Havertz stated that they have more goals to achieve this season.
The midfielder insisted that they have to win the Champions League again and again and also win other titles.
“We all dreamed of winning the Champions League one day, and of course now we have to prove it again and again,” Havertz said.
“I think we have all a lot of goals this season. The Champions League title is not enough for us, we want to win more and that’s our aim for the season.
“We have a very good squad, we have good players. That is the same for the pre-season, that everybody will be fit and that we are ready to play.”
He appreciates the support of the Blues fans and admits he feels comfortable in the club now.
“The fans now in the stadium, they give you a lot of support,’ he emphasised. ‘I feel very comfortable. I like it here, I like the city and I like the club, so all good.”
Chelsea will start their Premier League match with Crystal Palace who have a new manager this season.
