Chelsea climbs up to fifth position after win at Sheffield United as Blues manager claim third consecutive victory Bramall Lane.

Mason Mount scored Chelsea’s first goal with a nice finish from Timo Werner’s cutback shortly before half-time, but Sheffield United were level within nine minutes of the second half when Antonio Rudiger’s own goal gave the Blades a leveler.

Sheffield United was denied a first half penalty as referee Kevin Friend utilized the pitchside monitor to give the Blues a penalty for a foul on Werner before it been slotted in by Jorginho to restore their lead.

Sheffield United will host Bristol City in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday, before travelling to West Ham in the Premier League on Monday.

Chelsea will also travel to Barnsley in the FA Cup fifth round on Thursday, before host Newcastle on Monday Night Football in the Premier League.
