Klopp not concerned about Salah’s contract.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he is more concerned about Salah’s fitness than his contract.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not bothered about the contract of the club’s forward Mohamed Salah as he says he is not involved in it.
The Egyptian’s have less than 2 years on his contract and his yet to commit himself to the club in a new deal.
Klopp while speaking with the media ahead of Crystal Palace game stated that the is more concerned with the Egyptian’s sharpness on the pitch.
“There’s nothing really to say, especially from me as I am not involved,” said Klopp.
“The only thing I’m really interested in is how Mo looks, how sharp and committed he is at the moment, and that’s absolutely spot on.
“He looks really good. There is nothing else to say.”
He further stated that club forward Roberto Firmino will be absent on Saturday clash against Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury.
“He is not ready,” said Klopp. “Bobby won’t start training with the team until some time next week. Then we will have to wait and see.”
