Lakers players excited about the additions of Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell
The Los Angeles Lakers added Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell to their roster in free agency and their teammates shared their excitement.
Markieff Morris, Kyle Kuzma and Jared Dudley believe the addition of Schroder and Harrell will bolster the team in its effort to repeat this season.
“They are great players. I’m glad that we got them. Guys that are proven in this league and coming to a championship organization.
Obviously, if they can buy into what we do, they’re going to be successful and successful for us,” Kuzma told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
“The second unit, which I think was one of our weaknesses last year, I think is going to be a huge strength when you add in Schroder and Montrezl,” Dudley added, per Ward.
“Off the court and on the court he’s a dog. He’s competed at the highest level every night. He’s always ready to play. He’s going to bring it every night and we need that coming off the bench. We just need that throughout the 72-game season,” Morris said of Schroder.
“He’s going to help the team a lot. Another dog on the team. I would call him a junkyard dog because he does everything in the post. He battles down there and we need that on this team,” Morris noted about Harrell, via Ward.
