LeBron James when learning NBA would start on December 22: “Wow. Oh sh*t”

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was not at all happy with the NBA’s decision to start the 2020-2021 season on December 22. Not only did it mean that he will have just two months of rest after going all the way and winning the title previous season, but it also ruined his plans.

LeBron revealed that he had to cancel his vacation with his family due to the season start date being pushed earlier. His first reaction was a surprise and a disappointment at the same time.

Via ESPN:

“I was like, “Wow.” And I said, “Oh, s—.” Just being completely honest, I wasn’t expecting that because early conversations were going on and I was hearing that there would be kind of a mid-January start and training camp would kind of start after Christmas. We would have an opportunity to spend Christmas with our families. So I had a break planned, a vacation with my family for us to go somewhere, which I haven’t been able to do, obviously, since I’ve been in the league. So I had to switch up a lot of things once I heard the December 22nd start.”
