LeBron James won TIME’s 2020 Athlete of the Year award

Los Angeles Lakers star forward and reigning NBA Finals MVP LeBron James has been named TIME’s 2020 Athlete of the Year.

The 35-year-old James made a meaningful impact on and off the court this season, leading the Lakers to their 17th NBA championship and starting a nonprofit campaign to help fight voter suppression nationwide, reports NBA.com:
