Maguire admits they didn’t create enough chance to claim all the points against Leeds United.

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire says that they didn’t create enough chance to claim all three points in the Premier league against Leeds.

The Reds and Leeds were unable to find the back of the net as they played a goalless draw to share point.

Maguire claim they know how they wanted to play and they capitalize in the space they left but they were not enough to score a goal.

“We knew how they were going to play, especially here,” Maguire said. “We felt it at Old Trafford, we capitalised on the spaces that they left. Our attacking players love a one versus one and today it wasn’t to be.

“We created a few chances, a couple good enough to score a goal. We kept them to a minimum and we were really good and solid. We just couldn’t find the cutting edge.”

The England international said spoke on Marcus Rashford free kick which was close to scoring and also Bruno Fernandes chance, he said it was a chance the Portuguese would have score for them to claim the three points.

The Reds will play in the Europa League Semifinal this Thursday against Roma and will also face Jurgen Klopp side in between the fixture.

“Yeah, it’s big week ahead and we need to improve on today, for sure,” the Skipper emphasised.

“We need to be more clinical in the final third. Obviously, Roma in the Europa League is going to be a tough tie and one we look forward to, and Liverpool at Old Trafford – a big week. We need to go into it full of confidence and improve on what we showed today.”
