Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood his delighted with the winning header he got against Brighton last night in the Premier league.
The Academy graduate score from a bounced shot from Paul Pogba to move United four points clear top four.
Greenwood was delighted with the goal and also made it known to the media that he has been practicing headers in training.
“It was one of my weaknesses I’d say,” Greenwood said, when modestly discussing his heading abilities post-match.
“To be a striker and an attacker you have got to be able to do it all and that was one area where I was weak on. With practise and help from the coaching staff, it’s obviously strengthened now and I’m bringing it on to the pitch.”
Talking about the game Mason Greenwood stated that: “It was very important,” he said. “We played well, defended well and obviously to get the winner means a lot to me.
“Obviously, it’s a confidence booster,” Mason emphasised.
“I know I haven’t scored as many in the league but I scored a header tonight, something I’ve been working on for a long time behind the scenes but we’re all good with the win.”
