Pogba: “We lost control of the game a bit”
Paul Pogba admits they lost control against Southampton.
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba admits they lost control of the game a bit which led to the draw against Southampton.
The Red devils played a 1-1 at the St Mary stadium as Mason Greenwood found the back of the net to rescue a point.
The French man insist they feel bad for dropping points in the game but claims they will stay focus in the next game.
“I think we deserved more, but you have to show more also on the pitch,” he told MUTV post-match. “After the goal we scored we dropped a little bit, we lost control of the game a bit and that’s why I think we didn’t get the second goal.
“I think we dropped a few points today, we get one point, but we stay focused. Obviously, we’re happy we didn’t lose and we get this point with positivity, but we know this game, I think at the end of the season those two points are going to be very important.
“So we didn’t lose, we got one point and the next game away we know that those points will be very important for us and we don’t want to give them away.”
Meanwhile Sportscliffs reported that the Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer claims they will stay focus for the next game in the premier league.
The manager left St Mary stadium frustrated as his side drop points in the second game of the premier league.
