Manchester City have reportedly stepped up their interest in Arsenal’s Buyako Saka as they look to steal a march on Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League champions are now said to be closely monitoring developments regarding the 20-year-old’s future as he enters he final two years of his contract.

Last month one of the talkSPORT host Adrian Durham claimed England star Saka should consider leaving the club after their failure to achieve Champions League football.

He further stated that Saka might shrink just like former Arsenal Player Jack Wilshere due to much game he played for the team.

The England international has been a very important player for Mikel Arteta side in the Premier League.

Saka impressed so well in the Gunners team which earned him a call up into the England team for the Euro 2020 competition.

His form with the club made him a started over Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho in that tournament.

If Saka should move to City it will reduce is playing time and might not be able to play much like he plays in Arsenal.

Speaking about over using the 20-year-old player at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta knows how to utilize Saka and Pepe in that squad because of fatigue.

Bukayo Saka might now have achieved what he wants to in terms of club award but moving to Premier League Champions side might jeopardize is career a little bit.

Sportscliffs believes that if Bukayo Saka moves to Manchester City might not work for him because the club already has wingers that are play in that position.

The likes of Bernardo Silva and Riyard Mahrez plays in that position with Phil Foden also been utilize there sometime.

Saka should learn from the move of Jack Grealish who was once Aston Villa great player but find it hard to get into the starting team of City and also not having too much game time.
