Solskjaer insists Varane will miss United first match against Leeds.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer has given update on new signing from Real Madrid Raphael Varane.

The Norwegian stated that the French man is likely to miss the first game against Leeds United.

According to reports Varane has completed his medical at United and is waiting to be unveil officially.

While speaking in press conference ahead of the Leeds United game Solskjaer stated that Varane has not trained with the team.

He further stated that the isolation and the quarantine caused a little bit of delay for the former Real Madrid player.

“He’s not trained with us,” Solskjaer said. “All the dots are over the Is but we haven’t crossed the Ts yet.

“Things happen, things take time and unfortunately with the isolation and the delay, there are things [that cause delays].

“I can’t say that he will be involved tomorrow. I can probably say that he won’t be because he’s not trained with us.

“It always happens that there’s little things in there. The big hold up was the isolation and quarantine of course. He’s been in Manchester.”

Meanwhile Sportscliffs reported that new signing Jadon Sancho says fans should expect goals and assists from him.

The former Dortmund man who claims he will do everything to improve the team is likely to feature against Leeds United.
