Thomas Tuchel frustrated with getting only 1 points against Wolves in the Stamford Bridge stadium.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was frustrated following their 2-2 draw against Wolves at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were up following Lukaku’s brace in the second half just for the 2 goals to be bottled in the late minutes of the game.

“I thought we started both halves well with an offensive 5-3-2”, Tuchel said. “We knew about the risks and we needed to be disciplined. We showed discipline over most moments of the first half but in some situations we touch too much risk

“That cost us some dangerous moments at the end of the first half and we were unlucky not to score. We reminded the players at half time to stick to the plan.

“I was very happy with the way we started the second half, we created chances and enough situations to be in front but we were 2-0 up and then we took too much risk.

“We invited the counter-attacks and big chances. Once you do this you lose confidence and invite the opponent to smell that something is possible when it is unnecessary.”

Chelsea’s prospective new owner Todd Boehly was in attendance today but Tuchel insists they didn’t lose focus because of his appearance.

“No, I don’t think ownership is a reason for lack of focus,” Tuchel added.

‘We showed when the situation began that we can still focus. I would not consider this as advantage for Leeds as it does not change much for us because the sanctions are not lifted.

“It’s not worth thinking about, we have our own stuff to solve and make better.

“I heard the news this morning and I was in my match routine so there was no reaction from me. I have not spoken to anybody yet but as I said, I was in my morning routine.

“I do not check my phone or scroll the news when in my routine and that was the same as always because I have a lot to do. I do what I do, which is to try to do the best preparation for the match.”
