The French man side struggle against Chelsea in the Champions League, but insist he is confident in his player for the second leg.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane admits that his side struggled against Thomas Tuchel’s Blues in the first leg of the Champions league has it ended in 1-1 draw.

The Blues scored first in the 14 minutes of the game through Pulisic before Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema responded with a stunning goal to equalize.

Zidane in an interview after the game stated that his side struggle with Tuchel’s side press and claim they changed after the break to perform better.

The French man didn’t hold back to praise the Chelsea forwards as he claims they are fast and good, but insist that they got a fair result against them.

Real Madrid boss insist they are on the right track as he believe Chelsea are a side that defend very well and doesn’t concede much goals.

He also heap praise on his players and also believe in the quality they possess, he also stated they are confident for the return leg of the competition.

“I’m very proud of my players. We prepare for the games with the aim of winning them. I’m the manager, but we all prepare together with the players and we believe in what we prepare. We know we have a lot of quality and that we can produce it.

“That’s what we try to do in every game. But it’s not easy, because it’s tough to play every three days against very good teams. But we believe in ourselves and we feel confident for the return leg. We’re going to play to win. We know we have to score there”.
