- Manchester United: So much was expected from the Manchester United team after the signed a new manager and some players to complement the ones they had before. The story still the same as they struggled to make impact at Old Trafford against Brighton. The suffers 2-1 defeat in the game with their only goal was an own goal. The team were sloppy and showed no sign of fighting spirit in the game at all. The Red Devils created 17 chances in the game but got only five shots on target.
