Arteta: We can be Champions against best teams in PL
Arteta was also asked if Arsenal can now contend for the Premier League title more consistently going forward.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has stated that they can be Champions against top teams in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners fell off the Premier League table to Manchester City following recent poor result in the League.
Left with two games to play Arteta says his side will not bottle that again this time.
When asked if Arsenal can compete in the Premier League for long time Arteta replied: “We have shown it this season.
“We’re still there, with two games to go we can still be champions against probably the best team in the Premier League.
“We’re not going to bottle that for sure.”
Asked if the pain of this season being motivation for next year, the Gunners boss added: “I don’t know what pain. It depends what the pain is.
“There’s a lot of moments to be pleased with what we’ve done.
“Pain is part of football. It has to hurt when you don’t play in the right way.
“This is what we’re trying to do every single day.”
