Manchester United’s rising star, Rasmus Hojlund, has etched his name in Premier League history by becoming the youngest-ever player to score in six consecutive games. The 21-year-old forward showcased his prowess with a stellar performance against Luton Town, finding the net just 37 seconds into the match – the quickest-ever Premier League away goal for the Red Devils.

Hojlund’s remarkable goal-scoring spree commenced on Boxing Day with a superb strike against Aston Villa, and despite missing a game due to illness, he continued his scoring run against Tottenham, Wolves, and West Ham. His goal at Villa Park in the previous week marked his fifth consecutive match with a goal.

Notably, Hojlund surpassed Newcastle United’s Joe Willock as the youngest player to achieve this feat, achieving the milestone just a fortnight after his 21st birthday. The Danish forward’s accomplishment places him in the company of legendary Manchester United strikers like Ruud van Nistelrooy, Eric Cantona, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who also managed six consecutive goals in the past.

While fans fondly remember van Nistelrooy’s ten-game streak in 2003, Hojlund’s achievement adds a contemporary flair to United’s rich goal-scoring history. The young forward’s ability was on full display against Luton, where he not only seized an early opportunity after Amari’i Bell’s mistake but also showcased brilliant technique by chesting home Alejandro Garnacho’s shot to briefly put the Reds 2-0 up.

As Hojlund continues to shine, his goal-scoring exploits have become a captivating narrative in Manchester United’s season, adding excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.
