Cristiano Ronaldo walked off the pitch before the end of the game but Erik Ten Hag has stated that he will address the issue during their next session.

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo was seen walking down to the tunnel before the final whistle against Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Red Devils were able to get three points in a game they dominated with a clean sheet to crown it up.

Goals from Fred and Brun Fernandes was enough to secure the win for the Red Devils on their home ground.

During the game former Juventus forward Ronaldo was seen warming up on the sideline of the pitch.

Ten Hag instead brought in Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga and Christian Eriksen in the second half of the game.

Speaking about the attitude of Cristiano Ronaldo Ten Hag said: “I was there, I have seen him, but I didn’t speak with him. I don’t pay attention today, we deal with that tomorrow. I want to focus on this team, it was a magnificent performance from all 11 players. I have to correct myself, it was a performance also from the subs who came on. A squad performance.”

Chelsea will host Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday and Ten Hag reveal the dressing message ahead of the match.

“I think this team has confidence. It’s about getting ready for that Chelsea game. It’s also what I just told in the dressing room to the lads. Get ready as a team, as a player, it’s about recovery, about sleep, about food. Get ready for the next game and then, once again, we need that same performance.

“We have to deliver every day, live every day to the maximum. Live every day accounting to high standards. When you do this, you develop as a team and come on the good side of the process. I’m happy for today and already looking forward to Saturday, as it’s another big match.”
