Wooden vs Composite sticks (eg GX1000) for kids
Hi, I need to buy my kids hockey sticks. One is 9, the other is 7. Both started playing hockey in the previous seasons (ie they been playing for over a year). There are plenty of wooden sticks on offer and I noticed that Grays also do composite sticks (GX1000 and GX2000). I’ve found Grays’s composite sticks on sale and the price difference between all is negligible. My instinct tells me to just get the best I can get (ie the GX2000) or isn’t it that simple? The pitch they play on is a nice astroturf at a local hockey club. thanks for any advice.
