Cheillini condemns racist abuse in Italy after Koulibaly, Osimhen and Andre-Frank were targetted against Fiorentina.
Juventus captain Giorgio Cheillini condemns the act of racist in Italy admits it shameful and ashamed as an Italian.
According to report Napoli’s trio Kalidou Koulibaly, Victor Osimhen and Andre-Frank Anguissa were abused by Fiorentina’s fan on Sunday.
Cheillini is on international duty with Italy as they seek to add the UEFA Nations League to the Euro’s cup.
The Italian further stated that it is a terrible act and efforts must be made in other to put an end to it.
“It’s unacceptable,” said Chiellini. “I was ashamed as an Italian, as a Tuscan. It is shameful because in Europe people talk about Italy as a racist country and I don’t think it necessarily is.
“Everyone needs to do more. It is terrible publicity for Italy abroad. We all need to make an effort but we need laws which are applied and enforced. That’s the most important thing.”
