Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick praise is shot keeper David De Gea for is performance against Norwich.
The Spaniard pulled up some incredible saves to stop the Canaries from finding the back of the net.
United have kept two clean sheet in two games in the Premier League under the German manager.
But the clean sheet against Norwich saved the Reds points as Ronaldo scored from a spot kick to give United a victory.
Speaking after the game Rangnick said: “It was a fantastic performance by David. He was probably Man of the Match, especially in the second half. He made three or four brilliant saves.”
Rangnick’s men struggled against a team that is fight relegation in the Premier League as he claims they were unable to improve their tactical level.
“I mean, tactically, we don’t have that much time to improve the tactical level. I don’t think today it was a question of tactics or the distance to the team-mates it was more one-on-one offensively and defensively, the second balls.
“It’s about who wins more second balls, who wins the one-on-one duels. That was sort of the difference between the different parts in the game and in our formation.
“We have conceded the highest amount of goals in the top 10. Now we have two clean sheets, which is good, but we still need to improve on that away, especially against physical teams or teams that attack high like Norwich did. Norwich did not play like a bottom team.”
Victor Lindelof was replaced by Eric Bailey in the second half of the game after he was withdrawn due to the problem with his breathe.
“He doesn’t remember how it happened. I suppose he had a collision with another player and couldn’t breathe. He had problems to breathe and his heart-rate was higher than normal. We’ve had him checked and, so far, everything seems to be okay but he still seems a little bit shocked.”
The German also stated that they will need to prepare for the next game (Brentford) and he admits it going to be a tough match.
“We need to prepare for Brentford [on Tuesday], another difficult one. They won 2-1 against Watford, again a very physical team and again we need to take the next steps to raise this level to a different level.”
