Antonio Conte frowns at news linking him to Paris Saint Germain job says it will only create problems and does’t speak well for him or the club he presently manage.
Tottenham hotspurs boss Antonio Conte has condemned the news linking him with a job with French club Paris Saint Germain.
According to some past report claims that the former Inter Milan boss was interested in replacing Mauricio Pochettino at the Ligue 1 club.
Speaking ahead of their Premier League match Conte said he appreciate that his good work is recongnized but says he doesn’t like when people create fake news.
He added that it is not fair for the club and also his job but only create problems.
“Obviously I think it is good that other clubs appreciate my work”, Conte said. But this is one thing. The truth is that I don’t like when people try to invent news, only to speak or create problems.
“This is not right or fair for me or for the clubs involved.
“This situation makes me smile, but I think the people that want to tell something like this have to show respect for all the people that are involved in this situation and not invent fake news and tell a lot of lies.”
Conte, who has one year left on his contract, added that he would discuss his future at the end of the season.
“Now don’t listen to fake news and people for sure want to create problems for the environment,” he said.
“We have five games to play and then at the end of the season, in a private way, I will speak with my club and I will see the best solution.”
