Robert Lewandowski is set to complete his deal to Barcelona in the coming hours as agreement has been fully reached between the La Liga giant and Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski’s move to Barcelona is reportedly now fully agreed and will be completed this weekend.

The Polish has been a major transfer target for the Spanish giants this summer and, after protracted talks, Xavi has finally got his preferred forward

According to reports, Bayern have accepted a bid from Barcelona which will total €50million (£42.5million) including add-ons.

Sportscliffs understands that Lewandowski will sign a four-year contract at the club with personal terms known to have already been agreed.

According to report Lewandowski has said goodbye to his Bayern teammates on Friday and it’s believed that he will sign his new contract in the next coming hours.

He is expected to fly out to join Barcelona’s US tour on Sunday.

A medical will take place in Miami, and then, all being well, the transfer will be completed and officially announced.

“These 8 years were special and I won’t forget that. I had a great time in Munich”, he said.

“I will come back to say goodbye to all employees properly.”

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn said: “We have reached an agreement with Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski. It’s done – however on verbal agreement, the contract is still pending”
