Gareth Southgate has been called out after dropping Ben White and Jadon Sancho as he include Harry Maguire to the team.
England head coach Gareth Southgate has been called out for dropping Arsenal defender Ben White and Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.
The English manager announced his squad ahead of the international break and there have been questioned over some players that are included in the team.
Arsenal Ben White, who have been impressive for the club this season was not called up to the national team.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire made the list and this have spark of questions why a bench warmer will be place ahead of the Gunners centre back.
Harry Maguire have been dropped by new Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag following his drop in form lately and costing the team.
He has then been replaced by former Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez in the squad pairing with French man Raphael Varane.
However, Ben White has been a started for the Gunners under the management of Mikel Arteta has been sideline an not included in the pre world cup list.
Other defenders who made the list ahead of Ben White are Manchester City John Stone, Ac Milan Fikayo Tomori and Eric Dier.
Meanwhile, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho was also not included in the squad.
The Forward has been incredible for the Red Devils this season as he scored in their 2-0 win against Sheriff Tiraspo.
The Forward have score three goals so far this season (2 in the Premier League and 1 in the Europa League)
Manchester City duo Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, Aresenal’s Bukayo Saka and Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling were all included in the list.
Here are some the tweet that shows the displeasure of the omission of some players in the squad.

Southgate 100% has favourites. A few man he selected don’t even start for their club 🤣

Grealish continually getting selected for England as a pale shadow of himself when he was largely ignored at his best for Villa is absolute peak Southgate 😂

• Sancho — 6 PL starts in 6 apps
• Grealish — 1 PL start in 2 appsAlso, Sancho has more PL goal contributions this season than Mount, Grealish, and Bowen combined but they're all selected ahead of him.
It's obvious, Southgate doesn't like Sancho.

Ben White and Sancho really unlucky not to be part of that squad….Southgate picking a load of players who can't get in their first team and closing the World Cup door on those two

Drops Sancho but calls up Grealish, Gareth Southgate ladies and gentlemen.

Southgate’s selections make zero sense. He dropped Sancho when Ole wasn’t playing him, fair enough.
But why’s Luke Shaw being selected when he no longer starts?
Why’s Grealish and Mount being called up when they’re in very bad form at the moment?

Forgot Kalvin Phillips even played for City. If Southgate starts him over Bellingham at the World Cup it's a joke.
