Jose Peseiro says he is not pleased with his side performance following their 1-0 victory against Guinea Bissau in the AFCON qualifier.
Nigeria Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro believe his side needs to do more in front of goals and be more clinical.
The Eagles defeated Guinea Bissau in the return leg with a goal from the spot kick which was converted by Moses Simon in the first half of the game.
Lots of chances were not converted by the Eagles players and the Portuguese coach was not pleased with it.
“We could have won 6-1 in Abuja and 5-0 here in Bissau today because we played better on Friday than today. But that’s football, some times you played better than your opponents but the result will show otherwise,”Peseiro in his post-match interview.
“We dominated the match more at home than today but we could not convert our scoring chances.”
The Super Eagles will travel away to Sierra Leone for their next match on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
