De Gea refuses to open up on his contract at United
David de Gea has refused to comment on the ongoing speculation surrounding his Manchester United contract.
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea have refuse to open up on the contract issue with the club.
The shot stopper stated that he is only focus on winning games for the club for now and not about contract talk.
The Spanish goalkeeper has already turned down an offer from United with the club keen to reduce his hefty wages.
De Gea, whose current terms expire in June, said: “It’s time to focus on games.
“We play many in a row, it’s not time to lose focus and think about contracts. My mind is on being ready and to keep playing games.”
De Gea added: “We are playing really good football.
“We’ve already won one cup and we’re all enjoying it, the dressing room is close together and the players are giving their all in training and games.
“We are still in three competitions and we’re in the right way.
“When we keep a clean sheet, that means the team and I did a good job. The criticism is always there, you cannot please everyone, I always try my best.
“We’re doing a great job together.”
