Zion Williamson opened up about his preseason debut with the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
Williamson said he felt great, because he played without minutes restriction.
“It was a different feeling. I can’t even lie. It was a different feeling for sure. I think I was only able to finish a game maybe three, maybe four times last year.
But, it was a great feeling. When the clock struck zero, I was almost like, ‘Wow, it’s been a while.’ It felt great to be out there for extended stretches,” Williamson said, per the New York Post.
Williamson had 26 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes of action, as the Pelicans rallied past the Miami Heat (114-92).
